Dr. Nel
Dr. Dieter Nel is a qualified dentist from the University of Stellenbosch in 1996. He opened his first practice in Atlantis, after he completed his dental degree. In 1998, he opened his second in Melkbosstrand, a small village on the West Coast of South Africa, where he’s currently practicing.
Apart from practicing general dentistry, he has a keen interest in aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry, as well as root canal therapy. Dr. Nel follows the philosophy and will never put any restoration or prosthesis in a patient’s mouth that he would not allow in his own mouth. He will provide the level of treatment as if treating a member of his own family. By following that philosophy, patients can be rest assured that they will receive the highest quality care and materials that money can buy.
Dr. Nel is a fanatical golfer and a passionate target shooter. He is a habitual reader and spends family time with his wife Francia and his two children, Annette and Dietrich.
Dr. O' Callaghan
Dr. O’ Callaghan, who has also studied at the University of Stellenbosch in 1996 and went to the UK, where he practiced dentistry for several years and came back to South Africa where he joined Dr. Nel’s practice.
His interest lies in the treatment of children and teenagers. Dr. O’ Callaghan has a calm, relaxed mood and a firm believer in conservative and minimal invasive dentistry. He spends his time and effort with children to win their trust and always tries his best to treat them without instilling fear in them. He also provides dental treatment under conscious sedation and does difficult cases under general aesthetic at Blaauwberg Hospital. He lives in Malmesbury, married to Lana and also has a son named, Liam.
Dr. Natasha Henning
Dr. Natasha Henning is a dentist who obtained her degree Cum Laude from the University of the Western Cape in 2020. She did her year of community service in Strand during 2021.
Her decision to become a dentist was made early in life, having been inspired by the professionalism and care that she was fortunate to receive at a wonderful dental practice as a child, leaving her with a passion to pursue the profession.
She practices general dentistry, with a special interest in both aesthetic and pediatric dentistry. Dr. Henning wants her patients to be proud of their smiles and appearance provide children with the same positive experience she enjoyed as a child. For dr. Henning, her patients are her priority. She strives to provide quality care and excellent outcomes, founded on a holistic approach that focuses on patient education and preventative dentistry.
In her spare time, Natasha enjoys being an events planner, organising large gatherings and functions for her family and friends. Natasha is a warm, friendly person who loves spending time in the kitchen or with friends and family. She has already attended postgraduate courses in aesthetic dentistry and implantology.
